Take the stress out of buying a gift, let them choose exactly what they want.
This variety is often unfairly dismissed, particularly in its Italian guise. But Pinot Gris from Alsace is quite another kettle of fish, and in Jean Boxler’s hands, well worth a closer look. This is a brilliant example from the brightly-fruited and energetic 2019 vintage. It has a lightly petrol-like note on the nose, and a svelte and finely weighted body that feels in no way heavy but means it has great presence. Try this with Thai flavours and revel in its versatility.
