This site is the warmest on the hill of Hermitage producing full-bodied alcoholic wines. The 2013 was harvested with perfect phenolic maturity and ended up at 13.7% from a potential of 16.5%! Orange blossom and apricot on the nose with a complex, long, slightly bitter finish. There is a salty, savoury edge to the 2013 whites which is very noticeable here.
