As can be guessed at from the nose - extremely stony with a hint of creaminess - the Méal is a fresh, elegant and very mineral Hermitage, with some herbaceousness and tomato leaf that, according to Michel Chapoutier, is typical of this very precocious vineyard. This slightly austere Hermitage is incredibly long and complex, with an outstanding finish that manages to be rich and very fresh at the same time - just stunning!
