From a block of vines located just over the appellation boundary for Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this is a wine that truly overdelivers for its modest Côtes du Rhône appellation. The 2024 Coudoulet has beautiful aromatics of violets and red and black cherry on the nose. There is vibrancy and freshness which makes it wonderfully drinkable with layers of subtle liquorice and garrigue accents on the finish.
