A brooding wine with notes of warm rocks, cracked black pepper, tapenade and fresh iris. A deep purple intensity runs through the ripe plum and black cherry fruit with detailed, supple tannins that flow across the palate adding tension. This feels quite tightly wound and compact but aromatically already delivering a great deal. This will be approachable early will certainly age gracefully over the coming decades.
