Vinsobres is the northern most appellation in the Southern Rhône, and has a decent proportion of Syrah in the blend, that you can really feel in this 2019. Its 300m elevation affords it a cooling influence, and there is distinct freshness in this full-bodied wine, which is dark and densley black-fruited. The body is spiced with black pepper and meaty, grippy tannins. This powerful wine will need a few years in bottle. It is a rich and structured Southern Rhône with plenty of umph.
