2017 Gigondas, Font de Tonin, Domaine la Bouïssière

85% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre. The Mourvedre was planted in 1920, the Grenache in 1966 and 1956. Very red fruit, quite intense but with lots of balance. Powerful and structured. Serious intensity. Really nice phenolics and a touch of bitterness on the finish.
