The vines are a plot inherited from Pierre’s grandfather, Côte-Rôtie legend Albert Dervieux Thaize, with vines over 80 years old. There’s amazing tension and purity here, with floral and mineral characters, and such density from the gnarled vines. The texture is sumptuously layered and quite delicious.
