One of most prolific producers of the northern Rhône, Delas Frères was formed in 1835 and has steadily acquired desirable plots in nearly every appellation in that part of the valley. Initially family-owned, the maison merged with the champagne house Deutz in the mid-70s, an entity then purchased by Louis Roederer in 1993. They’ve now been organic since 2013, though not accredited, and have really hit their stride.
