2015 St Joseph Le Clos, M. Chapoutier

Bought by Michel in 1992, and planted in 1993, up until this point there had been no vineyards here since the war. A little reduced at this stage, reining in the fruit, but you can really feel the power, the extract, the density and oak. With excellent acidity, this is as good a St Joseph as we have tried.
