2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cuvée Papet, Domaine Clos du Mont Olivet

75% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah have yielded a wine of wonderful concentration and freshness in this top cuvée from Clos du Mont Olivet. Raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose are supported by lots of spice, garrigue and lavender. Stunningly complex and pure, the palate has notes of fig and currant where the sweet, grippy tannins provide a firm, fresh and beautifully-defined structure.
