Deep, inky purple in the glass, this wine has a delectably juicy character, with an aroma is redolent of blackberries, loganberries, cassis and plum. On the palate, it is full-bodied, deep, rich and intense and the mouthfeel is utterly beguiling. Fabulous acidity brings out the marvellous complexities of roasted meats, scrubland, garrigue and lavender, finishing with an edgy, smoky length which is truly sublime.
