The Bruniers describe this as a wine needing some patience, due its natural concentration caused by the low yields in this vintage. Dark and brooding in the glass, this has notes of black berries and damson on the nose, with a hint of an almost violet florality. On the palate, this at once rich and ethereal, with ripe fruit and robust, yet balanced tannins, offset by heady notes of wild thyme and jasmine. A very fine Vieux Télégraphe.
