This blend of 80 to 100 year old Grenache and Mourvèdre is only produced in excellent years. Very ripe fruit and a rich velvet texture contrast with a tight and compact nature. The wine has a deep intensity of multi-layered fruit with a prolonged finish. The expansive characters of the Grenache are complimented by the structure of Mourvèdre to give a perfectly pitched wine. It is finely poised between elegance and opulence. Outstanding.
