Didier Picq’s Chablis holdings are all high in limestone, giving his wines a wonderfully pithy minerality. This village Chablis shows wonderful Chablis typicity - green apple, oyster brine notes and a long, savoury length. As with all his wines, it is aged in stainless steel, so the fruit and tension are pure and precise. Outstanding value.
Clear fresh colour, really racy on the nose, the best of the more vibrant side of 2024. Really invigorating, almost lime juice at the finish, plus coquillage character. Evidently no 2023 wine has been added back in at this domaine! Drink from 2026-2029. Tasted Jun 2025.
