Tasting notes

The 2024 Meursault Village, a blend of several parcels (mainly Corbin), had just finished malo. It has a vibrant bouquet with orange zest and citrus peel, a light smokiness emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with Clementine and pear notes on the entry. This is a slightly conservative Meursault, strict but fresh with a dash of spice on the finish.

(88—90)/100

Late to finish malolactic, hence not yet sulphured. Indeed, the Meursault still has some malolactic aromatics which will soon disappear. Medium plus body, a certain generosity of fruit, significant intensity towards the back of the palate, a light toast from the oak. Not yet in place but a lot to look forward to. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.
