2024 Puligny-Montrachet, Olivier Leflaive

2024 Puligny-Montrachet, Olivier Leflaive

You’d expect this wine to be one of the best in the stable: from home turf, made from a magnificent blend of 25 parcels from across the commune (seven of them the domaine’s own). It is one of the most complete and compelling portraits of the village you’ll find, and it’s a wine to remind you that these Olivier Leflaive wines are not only the most benchmark example of their appellations, but also some of the most exciting in their category. This is everything Puligny should be, and more: filigree, tight, nervous, and fabulously long

Tasting notes

The village Puligny comprises all the vineyards but Trézin and Charmes. The nose is less evident at the moment. More in fruit weight and less in flowers but not quite together. It will get there. More impressive on the palate where the refined backbone of Puligny is covered in white fruit with a tingling finish. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.
