The cuvée is named after Damien and Caroline’s grandmother, Lucie, whose nickname was ‘Luce’. Its personalised moniker hints at how fond the family are of this wine, which is a blend of three parcels in the village. It’s a brilliant portrait of St-Aubin, with mineral intensity and tender stone fruit length.

More backward than the Santenay, with a clean white fruit, tight and lean a little bit of a lime finish, the St-Aubin Luce is much more about persistence not power. Drink from 2027-2029. Tasted Oct 2024.
