This comes from two plots on the Meursault side of the village and has appealing spiced quince notes with fresh honeysuckle. The palate is rather dense showing impressive concentration of stone fruit, yet the finish is etched with an oyster shell minerality. Excellent potential here.

Tasting notes

Pale lemon and lime. The Referts has immediately more bouquet than Garenne, a fresh white orchard fruit. This builds steadily on the palate, with considerable distinction, excellent energy, and fresh acidity. Stylish and long. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted Oct 2024.
