This cuvée uses the fruit from the younger vines in the Clos de l’Arlot premier cru, found at the southern side of the vineyard. It is brightly perfumed with honeysuckle and lemon meringue pie. The palate has a smooth, lemon curd texture, and some nice Conference pear character on the length.

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges La Gerbotte, which comes from a cool microclimate adjacent to the Clos de la Maréchale, has a well-defined nose of citrus fruit infused with light gravel/concrete aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine attack on the entry and notes of orange peel, tangerine and peach skin. It takes its foot off the accelerator toward the finish, which develops a pleasing waxy texture. Very fine and nuanced.
