2017 Puligny-Montrachet, Olivier Leflaive

The benchmark wine of the estate, this comes from parcels in all but two of Puligny’s village vineyards. It’s exactly what we want from Puligny-Montrachet: really fine with razor sharp precision, there’s high-toned notes of honeysuckle and white flowers, with tension and citrus length. Outstanding.

2017 Puligny-Montrachet, Olivier Leflaive
Olivier Leflaive

One of Burgundy’s most recognisable names, Olivier Leflaive produces some of the Côte de Beaune’s finest whites from a mixture of domaine-owned vineyards and bought-in grapes. Olivier founded the company in 1984, and it has grown in quality and prestige ever since. With 17 hectares of their own vineyards in some of the region’s most prized plots, and using only the very best sources from their bought grapes and must, the wines being produced are now up there with the region’s very best.
