Charles Ballot is a great studier of and believer in his soil. His winemaking is very much minimal intervention letting the vineyard do the talking. This 70 year old plot of vines in the heart of this great vineyard scream Meursault at the top of their lungs, it will be terrific with three to four years of bottle age.
