The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru is a blend of Aux Murgers and Les Boudots. This has a comparatively intense bouquet with dark berry fruit and hints of Lapsang Souchong coming through with time. Perhaps a little introspective compared to other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle but insistent grip. There is quite a sweet core of fruit, plenty of freshness and though it does not deliver the complexity of a top Nuits Saint-Georges on the finish it conveys a sense of joie-de-vivre.
