The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru is a blend of what survived in Aux Thorey and Murgers, totalling seven barrels. This has a pure and comely bouquet with perfumed red cherries and crushed strawberry, just a hint of orange blossom in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins. A sense of symmetry here with an understated but focused and persistent finish. A fine marriage!
