This comes from two sites in Vosne, one bordering Suchots (Hautes Maizières) and the other Clos Vougeot (Les Violettes). Voluminous and sophisticated, silky and persistent - every inch of its prestigious commune.
From Hautes Maizières and Les Violettes, made with 20% whole bunch vinification. Deep purple, currently with a stinky reduction which soon cleans up into a lively red fruit. Delicious on the palate, dancing fruit with a light white pepper note to finish. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Nov 2024.
