2022 sees the village Vosne come back under the domaine label, since vineyard ownership has been transferred back to them. It’s a very smart Vosne, too, showing great intensity, and a gliding, persistent grace. It comes from some excellent sites across the village, including Aux Raviolles, La Croix Blanches and Les Hauts Beaux Monts. We’re very happy to see it back.
A blend of Croix Blanches, Ravioles and Haut Beaux Monts, in roughly equal proportions. Racked earlier this week. A fabulous imperial purple. Beautifully lifted bouquet, without showing the whole bunches so much. What a weight of fruit starting at the front and continuing across the palate. A joyous quite fresh red fruit, now some white pepper and then a long red fruit finish. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted: October 2023. 5 stars.
