The 2020 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru is 12 % whole bunch this year. It has a very marine-influenced bouquet with hints of black olive infusing the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, concentrated with pure redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit with fine mineralité towards the finish. Denser than the Mazoyères, but maybe without quite the thrilling delineation.
