Tasting notes

The 2020 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune "Altitude" includes 50% whole bunch this vintage. Dark berry fruit, touches of undergrowth (damp moss on an autumn day), this is beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit on the opening, fine acidity, a little spicier towards the elegant finish. Vivid and energetic.
