The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts 1er Cru has a powerful, bold bouquet with blackberry and raspberry fruit mixed with rose petal and sous-bois scents. The palate is framed by firm tannins, quite saline at first, pulling back slightly from its assertive aromatics with a more streamlined, quite linear finish. This will require some cellar action for it to gain a little more weight on the back end.
