The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras 1er Cru, which contains just a little new oak, has a lifted, quite intense and beautifully-defined bouquet, quite floral and elegant, gaining power with every swirl of the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with superb weight and density, real horsepower here and yet it never loses sight of its elegance and precision. Slightly savory, akin to the tang of dried blood, on the finish? Bon vin!
