One of, if not the best 1er cru in Aloxe, this Valozieres is a stunner. It shows off its position on the border of the Cotes de Nuits and Beaune beautifully, with silky fruit and fine grained tannins, yet a cool darkness about it too. There's very little available: what there is, you should snap up.
