2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Jarollières, Jean-Marc Boillot

From a spot on the border with Volnay, this Pommard premier cru is a stunning 2015. A complex nose of dark fruits, violets and black stones leads onto a juicy, ripe palate with wonderful purity. The finish is long, fine and precise, making a wine that shows the very best of the estate’s prodigious talent.

2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Jarollières, Jean-Marc Boillot
Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot

Grandson of Etienne Sauzet, one of Burgundy's most famed vignerons, with experience as winemaker at Olivier Leflaive, Jean-Marc is a man of great practice with the talent of someone for whom winemaking runs in his blood. His wines wonderfully display terroir. With richness of flavour yet lightness of touch, they are always a delight to open: particularly in the company of charming Jean-Marc himself or his adult daughter, Lydie, who works alongside him.
