2014 Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans, Domaine de Montille
In 2014 this vineyard has seen two-thirds whole-bunch, and this has created an aromatic, expressive Volnay, whilst the consistently small berries in the vineyard ensure that concentration is not left wanting. Floral and perfumed with pure strawberry fruit, there is engaging spice to the palate. Pretty, feminine and refined, fine tannins build to a crescendo of perfect balance.
