Les Perrières is one of the best plots on the hill of Corton, producing aromatic wines of both grace and power. The nose is very pretty, with gorgeous notes of strawberry, raspberry and an earthiness, but the palate is much more serious. Hugely concentrated, with ripe fruit and spice, massive tannins and plenty of dry extract, all underpinned by refreshing acidity. This wine will handsomely reward those with patience.
