2013 Gevrey-Chambertin 'Mes Cinq Terroirs', Denis Mortet
This was possibly the best village wine we tasted in the Côte de Nuits. Highly charged notes of bramble fruit and black pepper, the palate is dense with great poise, freshness and a long mineral finish. This oak is already beautifully integrated; this is superb.
