2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Combottes, Domaine Felettig

The purity and vibrancy of fruit that is the calling card of Gilbert’s wines serves the beautiful old-vine fruit from Les Combottes very well indeed. Spicy, mineral, full bodied and powerful, considering the only two other producers who own a parcel of Les Combottes are Ghislaine Barthod and Christophe Roumier, this is by far the cheapest Combottes available on the market. It certainly stands up to its illustrious cousins!
