2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Arlaud

One third whole bunch pressing is used for this cuvée, which has a light floral fragrance, offering a charming glimpse of the power in the glass. A mass of concentrated fruit and layers of minerality interwoven with acidity, the intensity that builds up is immense. A stunning and serious wine with a finish that feels like it will last forever.

2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Arlaud
Domaine Arlaud

With the help of horses Nougat and Oka, Domaine Arlaud has been biodynamic since the 2009 vintage. The estate, founded by Joseph in the years after World War II, is now run by siblings Cyprien, Romain and Béatrice, the latter responsible for the equine employees. Whilst the wines have always been impressive, in recent years they have undoubtedly gained in detail and precision, reflecting their cerebral approach to winemaking.
