2012 Echézeaux Grand Cru, Jean-Marc Millot

Complex and charming with layers of bramble fruit concentration and violet notes, the acidity lifting the core which is then wrapped in silky tannins. The finish remains with you for some time.

2012 Echézeaux Grand Cru, Jean-Marc Millot
Domaine Jean-Marc Millot

The modest Jean-Marc Millot is a man who lets his wines do the talking, and with wines of this quality he can afford to. After starting the domaine in 1992, he acquired many of his Grand Cru parcels in 1997. Today, his diligence leads to wines which define elegance and finesse. Unassuming yet overwhelmingly charming, here is an example of the wines reflecting the maker. His daughter Alix now works at the domaine, and challenges her father to make even better wines, already a winning formula.
