2012 Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Méo-Camuzet

A delicious proponent of the polished and silky house style, the Vosne-Romanée villages exhibits a lifted nose of raspberry fruit with a hint of violets. The silky, mouth-watering and ample texture is kept in check by delicately grippy, fruit-coated tannins; this is really quite delicious.

Domaine Méo-Camuzet

The link with Henri Jayer continues to define, if not overshadow, this estate, which makes outstanding wines completely in its own right. Jean-Nicolas Méo took control in 1989, and the wines have rightfully developed a reputation for being polished, opulent and voluptuous, with wonderful intensity to the fruit. With fourteen hectares in some of the most prestigious parts of the Côte de Nuits, Méo-Camuzet also has a thriving negotiant business.
