One of the wines of the tasting for us, this is surprisingly serious and age-worthy for a villages wine. The nose is complex with wild strawberry, freshly cut herbs and just a hint of clove. On the palate there is real velvet to the texture, yet it is kept firmly in place by a tight structure of fine-grained tannins.
