The vines in the Clos range in age from 30 to 55 years old. There is a real energy in this wine, deep and intense fruits with notes of lilac and rosemary perfume. On the palate there are layers wrapped around a concentrated core of ripe, rich dark fruit. Notes of black pepper, a little rosemary and chocolate lead to a finish that seems to go on forever.
