Latricières-Chambertin is one of the cooler Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru sites, tending to produce wines that are rich in their youth, with an ethereal and airy quality. That is certainly the case with 2011 Duroché Latricières-Chambertin. It possesses a simply stunning nose, with incredible raspberry coulis, floral and mineral nose. It is already impossibly complex and words just don’t do this wine justice. The palate is very pure, shows good concentration, but above all is beautifully harmonious. This is a very complete and thrilling wine that should not be missed.
