Dark, brooding and serious, this is a much more powerful and masculine style of wine. Predominantly produced from very old vines, which give the wine its concentration and complexity. The palate shows very dark berry flavours, with violets, blackberry and spice. Hugely concentrated and possessing considerable tannins, this is a wine to keep and has excellent potential.
