This small but perfectly formed vineyard lies just above Richebourg and is rarely seen. One or two of its exponents massively under-perform as there is wonderful potential here, which, thankfully, Maxime seems to be realising! The vines here are 50 years old and the wine has a very seductive quality to it, being very transparent and fresh with very fine tannins. A wine to watch. Drink from 2015.
