Considered the best of the Monthélie 1er Crus, on a steep slope facing due east, it is a continuation of Auxey-Duresses and Lafon’s is considered the best example. Exuding an energy and vibrancy so characteristic of the vintage, there is crunchy red fruit in abundance here and more than a little grip to support it.
