The Clos des Forêts wine is created from five different old vine cuvées. Beautiful on the nose, witjh fresh, ripe strawberries and hints of vanilla coming through in the background. The palate is plump, showing ripe cherry fruit and bold tannins, which are not aggressive in any way. Great fresh acidity, balancing well with the tannins. This wine will age well and evolve with time. Olivier Leriche said of this wine that ‘energy and freshness are important in this style of vintage’.
