2008 Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans, Domaine de Montille
Aromatically similar to the 1978 according to M. de Montille. Certainly very aromatic with parma violet and hedgerow fruit notes. Very fine and elegant on the palate, like the 1993 apparently. Certainly not bad vintages with which to be compared.
