A variation to Benjamin’s usual presentation of the Epeneaux tasting this year. In the past he introduced samples from different vine age plots, however on this occasion he preferred to present samples produced from the various soil types found in the vineyard. As with the estate’s regular premier cru, the precise blend is still to be finalised but all the indications from the individual ‘lots’ suggest that the wine will display rich, fruit-filled flavours underpinned by a firm, structured core.
