2006 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

2006 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

The most prized wine in the Mugneret cellar. Fragrant, wild fruits on the nose. The palate is characterised by vibrant summer berry notes, with a finely judged ripeness, sweet but not overpowering. Indeed there is a sense of restraint about this wine, which is very elegant and graceful, with a fine weave of fine-grained tannins and ripe glossy fruit.
