2005 Pommard 1er Cru Les Pézerolles, Domaine de Montille
Pézerolles is located on the Beaune (north) side of the village.
More oaky on the nose than the Grands Epénots at this stage
of evolution but on the palate there is an astonishing fruit
intensity and precision - a stunning array of summer fruit
flavours steeped in spices. Pommard power and structure is in
evidence and copious richness This is a wonderfully
harmonious Pinot - the bee’s knees! Spectacular intensity of
refined ripe fruit brings this cuvée to a dramatic finale.
